"You get what you pay for. The hotel was old, and off the main highway. The room smelled like mold and mildew. The front desk person was very friendly and nice. That said, when we decided to leave early due to the storm, then nobody knew anything about getting a refund for the night we did not stay. The worst part was that we could have dealt with all of those things, but then the microwave did not work, and we could not heat up the

"The Greenporter was exactly what we needed for our visit to the North Fork. Nothing too fancy, but the bed was very comfortable and the AC was excellent. We visited during a heat wave and we really enjoyed having a pool to relax near. The pool chairs were incredibly comfortable and there was a cooler of free cold water bottles for guests. We had to force ourselves to leave the pool area for a dinner. We would love to return!"

"Kayla at the front desk was fantastic.
The room was located in a separate building from the front desk, just around the corner. Ample street parking because its off season & I traveled on a dead weekday. I was kind of bummed the restaurant in the hotel wasn't open, I was under the impression they were going to stay open weekdays after LDW.
Room was nicely appointed, did find hair in the bathroom sink but otherwise spotless. Hotel is

"The Sea Shell Motel is a great place to stay if you love Misquamicut Beach. While this motel is somewhat dated, it is cosey and in a great location.
Pros: Location (Proximity to the beach), Beautiful Bay Views, Great Cable TV, Good AC, Fridge/Microwave, Convenient Parking, Friendly Management
Cons: Only offers double beds, Beds could use an upgrade, small rooms/bathrooms
Overall: This place is great if you love Misquamicut Beach! I would recommend this motel to my friends."

"Such a cool vibe. Hip decor and plenty of space to relax and chill. Nice continental breakfast. Love the wine fridge in the room and provided wine glasses. Great outdoor space. Excellent location. Close to restaurants and shops. Local winery near by was nice too. "

"Beautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! "

"It was a quick one trip to Greenport. Location makes it ideal to park and walk for the day. Spent some time shopping and exploring the town. I personally wouldn’t sit by the small beach area because the marina water tends to be murky but the pool was clean and heated. Considering it’s a holiday weekend not over crowded. Seats by the pool. Over all I would stay again it’s was a perfect trip. "

"Beautiful property and the cottages were clean, gorgeous, and comfortable. It was just hard to get in touch with anyone for service related issues.
The restaurant on site, Si Si was amazing and the staff there went above and beyond!"

"A great long weekend at the Offshore for their opening weekend. Rooms were new and clean. Prime location in Montauk, across the street from the beach and right in town. Staff was beyond accommodating! Beach chairs on the beach was an added bonus."

"Wonderful stay in a beautiful, historic inn. The staff was always very helpful. My room (I actually got upgraded to an available suite) was gorgeous. Breakfast options were great as well. Thank you again! "
