"We asked for and received an updated room, and it was quiet, spacious and comfortable. It was on the second floor (no elevator - no problem for us), as a lot of renovation work was in progress on the first floor.
Tiny fitness room has working treadmill, elliptical and recumbent bike.
Elliptical only good if you’re under 6 feet tall, due to the low ceiling.
Co tinental breakfast was straightforward and adequate for all needs. Hard boiled eggs in the fridge with yogurt, milk, OJ.

Each room had a t.v. The living room was equipped with a microwave, sink and mini-fridge, but the fridge didnt work. It was okay because we were there only one night. Service was great. Very friendly. The breakfast was pretty standard but they were very good to refill food and other items as needed. The...

"When in Rochester, I always stay at the Hilton Garden. The location is great, near UofR’s campus and right at the medical center with restaurants nearby. I had a room on the 4th floor and there was noise either above or outside, both fitting the day and at night. It kept me up at night. The room is well equipped with coffee maker and a microwave. I love that the hotel has a pool and a well sized gym. "
