It was nice that they had a pool but it was empty the entire time - we realized why when none of the 5 kids we we’re traveling with ages 5-16 could bare to swim because the water was so cold. Hallway’s stunk of pot and cigarettes… surprising for a “non” smoking hotel? Dishes put away dirty in our room, 1 glass put away broken… just not up to scale of your typical Marriott."

with parking right outside of the room. plenty of green space for the pooch. small town option compared to staying in New Haven. local grocery and dining is a few miles up the road. the "suites" part of it gives you more square footage and a kitchenette, but the kitchen is not stocked with any cookware or silverware or plates. in our room the toilet flush handle was broken."

We were bicycle touring and when we arrived, we were greeted by ice water with lemons in the lobby along with warm chocolate chip cookies. The room was very comfortable and we liked that the bathroom had a night light and plenty of places to hang towels. We paid to include breakfast which was excellent except for the overly hyper dinning room attendant who really needed to just chill. "
