"We arrived a day early and there was no problem letting us stay. The hosts are so friendly and attentive. The place is soo peaceful and tranquil. It's amazing & feels like you are in another world. The food was amazing the evening meal was the best we had in the 3wks of travelling. "

"Or visit to Dikili staying at the Dikelya was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. The outlook over the water is hard to beat! There was a lovely shaded garden where we could meet our friends. Wifi not very strong, and didn’t reach our room at all. Some sections of the hotel were not finished, which left it looking cluttered and dirty. Nonetheless, it was still A lovely place to stay. "

"Tucked beneath the ancient ruins of Pergamon, the Alaia Hotel sits quietly in the old Ottoman quarter of Bergama. With its charming and eclectic furnishings, it proved to be a wonderful choice. Navigating the winding cobbled streets was tricky—even Google Maps struggled—but the owner was communicative and guided us there with ease. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious homemade Turkish breakfast, and best of all, everything we wanted to see was within walking distance."

"It is a "normal" Ramada hotel. Everything you would expect in any other country. It's new and very clean. There is a restaurant on-site that serves dinner and breakfast buffet. The biggest inconvenience is the location. It's located next to the highway and suits well those who decided to make a stop while traveling. There is nothing else around the hotel besides a gas station. Also, the hotel price matches the prices in the US but, in my opinion, is too much for Turkey. I guess it's because there is not much competition around it. "

"The location is excellent. The room is small with a very small bathroom and a strong smell of smoke. The towels are worn out and old but are clean. Because I visited it in Jan., no other customers checked in the hotel that day by my observation. Some family members are seat at first floor area when I walked in later afternoon that day, and made me thought I got wrong place. Considering the price, it is acceptable. But, I may not recommend it to my friends. "

"The good - location is perfect for Acropolis, a short drive or walk to the cable car. Shower was hot & powerful. Staff pleasant. Outside seating area pleasant The bad - the bed creaked like it was older than Pergamon! The room was very dark and dingy and full of cobwebs with bugs trapped in them. It was very cold at night, bathroom was freezing. No kettle or fridge. Had a terrible night's rest Overall poor value for money. Maybe the more expensive rooms might be nicer?"

"Great neighborhood in the Old City. Close to the Pergamum acropolis if you are able to walk it. Owner was great about being there to meet my late arrival from Izmir."
