"Marie and Ingvar are wonderful hosts, helped us with transportation issues and were very kind. Their hotel is âold worldâ charming, with good natural light to brighten up the cozy common areas. We especially enjoyed meeting other travelers during breakfast and at the end of the day having tea or coffee in the spacious sitting room. Close to restaurants and historic sites. Highly recommend."

The hotel has its own (heated in winter) parking garage which costs SEK 125/night. The other parking possibility is in the centre of the town. Especially in winter time the garage is very nice: not a snow covered/frozen car. It is accessible with the elevator of the hotel. The only minus is that the garage is narrow for...

"The rooms were comfortable and mine connected to a lovely terrace. However it was unusually warm during my stay and I felt uncomfortable sleeping with my terrace door open, I closed it and was quite hot in my room. I was able to street park easily and the hostel is very well located for walking around town and to the lakefront."

"Roger, this man is a lifesaver! We arrived at this hotel tired from several days of skiing. We were pleased to see a free spa with jacuzzis and a sauna. It has a beautiful interior and smells/looks so clean. There were also snacks and drinks to purchase up front. We had to be at the airport at 4:30 a.m. the next morning but didnât rent a car. The taxis were also all refusing to drive us. But Roger, the front desk manager at the time, so kindly offered to drive us and all of our luggage to the airport. We were so grateful and relieved. Iâm not sure what we are wouldâve done without him!!!! We wished we couldâve stayed longer in this beautiful place. Cannot recommend it enough! "
