"The property was great, we were supposed to arrive and check in early but the host had forgotten which wasn’t that big of a deal. The only real issue was that we had very noisy neighbours in rooms next to us praying and being very loud at 1-2am in the morning which disturbed my sleep on many nights."

Unlike the neighboring City Lodge, the Protea Hotel in Hatfield offers you free access to Zone Fitness located in the mall across the street -- for a gym-goer this is an amazing bonus. Parking at the bottom where I'm enjoyed park there, due to the pillars the security was thereto assist with the parking and can you imagine that both male and female was helping to park. We're used to male doing that but it was amazing to see a lady helping directing me to park and other members too.

"This is a great spot if you are attending a concert at Sunbet Arena - only a 5 min (safe) walk from the venue. Restaurants are about a 3 min walk at Times Square.
The hotel itself is very clean and modern. Check-in was quick and efficient with friendly staff on reception. Room was spacious, light and airy with sufficient plates, cutlery, etc and even a washer/dryer.
Unfortunately we did not get a chance to use any of the facilities or to enjoy breakfast as it was just a quick visit. Parking is in an underground secure parking lot - make sure you park in a spot marked “C Reserved” on r you’ll get clamped!"
