"Plush hotel but loud noise from heavy engineering on the nearby railway kept us awake and the room was too hot with the window closed. Worth paying extra for a lakeside room. Good breakfast and free EV charging was a bonus although we had to wait for a space. Dog friendly and lots of nearby walks."

"The hotel was clean and stylish, the breakfast was great and it had plenty of parking with a charge. Only down point was our room location. We were right over delivery acces (where they delivered stuff with a big truck) and next to the cleaners room. It was very loud after 7.30 am,"

But the best thing by far is the food, do not bother booking anywhere else in town to eat. Stay and eat here, you will not be disappointed, a small menu but all cooked and served to perfection. Over our stay we sampled 6 different dishes ALL of them perfect. Very very reasonably priced, I have paid double for a similar dish, that was nowhere near as good.
After both meals we looked at each other in disbelief as to how good the food was...
