"The hotel room was very large and spacious, with a fantasic sea view balcony. We were able to get a sun bed either round the pool or on the private beach whenever we wanted. The A La Carte restuarant was very impressive and the food that we ate there for 3 nights was far superior to any of the other restaurants that we visited during our stay both for food quality and service. Denis (who we thought was the Maitre D') was very attentive and ensured that we were looked after, and the rest of his team were very good as well. The only area we thought could be improved was the buffet breakfast. Unless you arrived early, the food choices were limited due to the hotel winding down before breakfast ended. We were bed and breakfast only, and the hotel was clearly geared for all inclusive guests. It would have been better to offer a optional breakfast in the main restaurant with a supplement."

"We stayed mid June on an all inclusive basis. The AI was very limited for drinks, we had to pay for tea and if you wanted anything other basic spirits, beer or wine. No tonic/mixers available even to buy, just fizzy orange, lemon or full fat coke from machine. Plastic glasses even at dinner, though I did just ask the staff for a glass and take it to the bar as all drinks were self service. No cocktails on offer the way it’s shown online as I’d have been happy to pay for these. I did buy great Aperol Spritz but I’d just asked for this - no menu showing what was available. The gym & Al la carte restaurant were closed which was disappointing. The foyer was being re- decorated. I got the impression it was an ‘out of season ‘ vibe as all the theme nights etc you see online didn’t take place. This may all seem negative but we did have a good time, I think you just need to manage expectations. We paid less than £1000 for 2 people for a week - which was still good value. The staff were very helpful and the concierge arranged transport and a restaurant booking for a fantastic evening in Tirana. The food was fairly good, plenty of choice and we always found something we could eat. A criticism would be that you just found your own table, which meant my husband and I had to go up at different times to buffet as we’d have lost the table otherwise as the staff just cleared whatever was there if no one was sitting. I’d say this was a decent 3 star hotel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lubjana. The staff was really friendly, everything was clean, and breakfast selection was great as well. A bit inconvenient that there is a pretty busy road you have to cross to reach the beach, but everything is in close vicinity. We would definitely stay there again"

"A very fun place to stay. Staff was super serving and excellent! They had a place to park, which is a must in Durres. Great location. Wonderful pool (although closing at 6pm is so early!). Chairs and umbrellas on the beach. We had a great time!!!"

"Absolutely loved every part of our stay from the balcony in our room to the comfortable beds. The pool was outdoors and not temperature controlled but it was still very well kept and super clean. We still can not stop thinking about the AMAZING breakfast. It was included with our stay which isn't even mentioned here but it was a great added incentive and no other breakfasts have compared since our travels. I would go back to Albania just to stay here again, honestly. I have so much more to say because I really did love this place and the people and everything else it came with. "

"Far from a 4 stars hotel really... Never seen a bathroom that old, the shower cabin is so small and has no door. Every time you shower you will get so much water on the floor and on the toilet. Lot of issues with the hot/cold water on the first 2 days.(Our stay was only 3-4 days). Really not helpful when the weather is so hot and you have to shower. The breakfast was not so great, I really doubt on the quality of the food served there. The view of the room and terrace were disappointing. You might want to think about using real drying racks to hang towels? The road bringing to the hotel is a bit of a mess. The good points are: Great location near to the beach The bed was really confortable Unfortunately not a good value for money."

"We had a wonderful stay at Eter. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The food was fantastic and the location was amazing! On our last day the staff made sure we had a breakfast packed as we were leaving on an early excursion. We were very impressed by the whole stay! One really odd thing that almost felt surreal in comparison to the rest of our visit; the last day there (when the hotel seemed very empty) we decided to go down to the indoor pool, only to find that the water was extremely cloudy and the hot tub was worse and also smelled so bad (not chlorine.) If the rest of our stay wasn’t so fabulous, this may have ruined the experience. But because everything else was so wonderful, we assumed something had happened and left the area. The whole pool/spa area is very nice, so it’s too bad it wasn’t cared for. "
