"The hotel is located within walking distance to the ferry port and close to all points of interest in town. It is also close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is very welcoming. The lobby has comfortable seating areas and a cozy fire for cool winter days. My room was modern, clean and comfortable. The best part of this property is the staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming and friendly. They made every effort to ensure that my needs were met. I recommend a stay at this property if you find yourself in town!"

"A super cool property, amazing history. Most of the staff were incredibly hospitable. Great vegan recommendations. A couple at the front desk were less friendly and awkward. For example, I asked about the property's history and the woman didn't like talking to me about it and actually texted her boss while we were talking who came over and made up an excuse for her to leave, lied and said that he was her husband, all of that so she wouldn't have to talk to me about the history of the hotel. It was awkward. But the other staff members are so nice that it made up for it. And the building is super cool and the whole street that it's on is amazing. You can take pictures forever"

"We stayed in room 501 and the bathroom floor looked like it had Not been cleaned since the pandemic. The bathroom area way too small and the tub is built for a child. Our room needed MAJOR updating. ."

"Had a great stay here! Absolutely loved the hotel. There’s a rooftop patio where you can sit and relax. Everything in the town is walkable from the hotel. The rooms were really nicely decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast had an assortment of fruit, breads/pastries, and meats and cheeses. Most of the tourists only do day trips, so it’s nice to spend an evening strolling around town when it’s less busy. All in all a great stay and would definitely return! "

"This Spartan hotel is grim. Floor space was eighteen inches either side of the small double and 5 feet at end of the bed. Suitcases had to go in bathroom. Pillows full of shredded foam. Sheets too small for bed and no quilt covers. Bed uncomfortable. No help getting to room on 2 nd floor and my hubby and I care seniors with 5 large cases. The decor was Spartan. Cheap wood effect table and chairs in dining room- no room for furniture in bedroom- apart from a tabletop fridge standing on floor"

"Positivo: Muy buena ubicación céntrica. Desayuno bien. Gran pileta exterior. Gran pileta interior, incluso con mucha gente era cómoda. Linda arquitectura colonial con un patio interno y aljibe. El personal de la mañana super amable. La habitación, desayunador y hotel en general estaban limpios. Negativo: La habitación doble era minúscula. Para dos personas tenía una sola silla y 3 perchas. Ningún perchero en el cuarto, solo había un pico en el baño. No cabía la valija en ningún lado. El “frigobar” es una heladera con solo dos aguas que parecen de cortesía, pero las cobran. La pileta interior muy venida abajo. La cascada y los picos no funcionan. El “jacuzzi” sí lo prenden – aproximadamente 15 minutos por día. Muchos azulejos despegados, eso lastima. También había basura en el fondo. Luego de una tormenta, en la pileta exterior recogieron las hojas recién a las 3 de la tarde. Muy mala relación calidad-precio. Si mantienen las instalaciones, se salva. "

"My Wife and I stayed for 2 nights in this small boutique hotel on our first trip to Colonia and were very pleased with our choice. It is located in the heart of the historic zone just a few blocks away from nearly all the highlighted points of interest in the area. Both the general area and hotel itself is safe, quiet and peaceful; very close to many good restaurants and shops. Very clean, good Wifi, great comfortable bed, nicely furnished room and decent breakfast. The manager Vanessa and the rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. "
