If you want quiet, unique, and delicious plant based meals this place has it. Our only regrets are not firing up the tezmascal and spending more nights here. "

"Pros- This place has beautiful rooms and shared spaces on an entirely unique property. It is far away from the crowds in the middle of the jungle on Laguna Bacalar. There was excellent vegan food served up to 3 times per day. The staff were friendly and quick to help set up tours or other wellness activities. They made a special meal for my son who was not feeling well. There are multiple ocean kayaks available to take out on the lagoon. It was an absolutely unforgettable stay.

"The hotel was located around many dining options and they even had a little lobby to purchase snacks in case you were in need of something after hours. The beds were big and comfy. The air conditioning and fan were amazing to come to after a hot humid day. We had a nice size refrigerator in the room for our left overs. All in all it was a fantastic find for the cost. "

"This place has it all. Affordable pricing, walkable, shopping and dining options. Lake is a 3 minutes away and the bus ADO is only a 5 minute drive which is like $3 USD taxi. Best part is that you get access to Mayan Playa which is a $6 USD taxi ride. There you can enjoy a deck with lounge chairs, hammocks and swim at no cost. As well as Kayak, bar and small menu for a small fee. "
"Great property, most of the staff were super kind and helpful and the breakfasts were amazing! The only thing that bothered me were the guests at 7am in the pool screaming and wilding out and then again until 10:30pm when we were told that noisy times were between 9am -9pm. My husband is Mexican, I speak Spanish very well and the ladies at breakfast weren’t nice to me and making remarks thinking I didn’t understand the first morning so I sent my husband for the next days. Overall it’s a great space, great location and we had a private space with a jacuzzi that made the experience even better. "
