"We were visiting family in the area and chose here because we know the area. The resort was clean and newly remodeled. The staff was very friendly, especially Kelly. The breakfast was not much, just a cereal bar, some muffins and bagels and coffee so we ate at a local restaurant down the street. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again."

"Although this hotel is nothing fancy, the front desk employees were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I asked for a quiet room and even though the room was directly over the dining area, I never heard a thing. I thought the bed was going to be too firm, but slept like a baby. Breakfast was the usual buffet, but it’s free so no complaints. The only complaint I have is that they advertised the ability to “cast” premium channels from your phone to the tv but found out the tv wasn’t connected to the internet. Limited channels available otherwise. Would definitely stay here again"
"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. It was so quiet and cool in the evenings that I slept very soundly, and the location is totally pastoral and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
