"Total SCAM. They advertise AC and there is no AC and absolutely no communication. They email you with a check in time, and a code and standard lock box code to enter the room. We couldn’t get in as it was very hot out and though we could get through the front entry, we tried for hours to get in our room which they stated was on the “second” floor and the code did not work. Just to find out that they consider the entry (street level) the “0” floor and the second floor was actually on the third floor. We chose this hotel because they advertised it as being air conditioned and there is only an electric floor fan. It was stifling. So we left even though it was too late to get a refund. Luckily, Expedia found us a hotel room with air-conditioning and exchanged it because it was false advertising. No water (unless you pay for the two bottles which were in the refrigerator), no conditioner, no communication. We were trying to contact them for over two hours, with no response ever, we lost a full day of travel. As a former owner of hotels, it is the most unacceptable form of hospitality. "

"Very nice hotel, has a boutique feel, extremely clean and modern. Fantastic area, lots of dining and shopping options near by, minutes from the Cathedral and old city. "

"Excellent place to stay in order to explore Le Mans, though it's a bit far to walk to the old town. Friendly staff, well-appointed rooms, nice light. We had a car, so we didn't mind the trip to town."

"A bit disappointed with the Ashley Hotel Location was good (near staion) & it was clean. They are the good points. Now for the faults! Corridors to room virtually pitch black, had to use a torch. Reception unmaned most of the time. Nowhere to charge a phoe in room. No bedside tables. Cracked glass in window. What little furniture there was, is in a very poor state of repair. Tiny bathroom & shower. Would not stay there again. There are many others in th area, fat better, and for very little more in price."

"This hotel was overall a good place to stay and not too expensive, so it's something I'd recommend.   Facility was nice and clean.  Plus it was convenient having a restaurant and workout room onsite as well. Location was convenient to city center, so there was a good selection of food within walking distance."

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Great stopover location as plenty of outdoor parking. Easy walk (35min) into centre of Le Mans for restaurants. Would definitely use again. Merci"

"Unknowingly we were there during the LeMans race week. The gentleman at the desk was a wealth of information about the race and the cars that were parked in the lot. Dinner and breakfast were on site which was very convenient. "

"Fabulous chateau, lovely host, the character and location of this property is just perfect. We had an evening meal to die for, every course personally prepared and served in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was served in same lovely surroundings as was the evening dinner. Didn’t use the pool but other guests said it was lovely."

"We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Roc was welcoming, gave us access to his family home and gardens, and an excellent restaurant recommendation in a nearby town. He even called to make a reservation for us. "

"Idea place for a one night stop over. Restaurant in site, Burger King next door and Chinese take away nearby. Local park which is next to the river. "

"Staff were gracious, generous, informative and helpful. Loved the kitchenette and local market. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped. Very comfortable apartment for working remotely. Fans compensated for the lack of AC."

"Great it had an open Resturant but the staff was pushed as only one, so service good but very slow. Would definitely go back having said that. "

"Very convenient location as you are a five minute walk from the station. Also staff let me store my luggage here as I stayed overnight at the race. I had to return the morning of check in, but when I came back after hours they moved the luggage to my room"

"First time at this hotel after many years at Le Mans 24h moto , very happy and we’ll be back , secure parking for the bike , great breakfast and all the staff were friendly and helpful - room was small ish but perfectly fine with a great shower . We shall book for next year Location is great for the main square and trams to the track . This was a good find "

"A lovely hotel with friendly staff and an excellent menu for dining. You need a taxi from the station, but once you are there it is walking distance to everything in this very interesting city. Tourist Information is very helpful too."

"The flush didn’t work, it was freezing the plugs/ outlets didn’t work. What they showed in pictures and what we really got was terrible."
