"This hotel is the perfect spot to stay if you are in Chalon. The front desk is very helpful. It is a quick walk to parks and other tourist areas. Walking through town is a delight. Breakfasts and dinner at the hotel restaurant were wonderful. One of our best memories will be the breakfasts both because of the view of the plaza but especially the food. We had four rooms, all arriving at different times and they placed us together without having to be asked. The staff do everything they can to make you feel special. My husband also states that they have the best croissants in all of France! "

We broke down in Tournus due to a puncture, had to wait two days for new tyres, but managed to find this hidden gem, everything about it was amazing and could not fault it, pool, food and especially Catharine who helped us with taxis and speaking to the garage on our behalf, it certainly took away the pain of missing two days of our holiday, would and have recommended to all friends. Well done Catharine and team, you have an amaing hotel."

The only bad side is if you do not speak French it was very difficult to get service at the one restaurant available because no one but the front decal and the manager speak English. I guess if you travel to a country where French is the first languages expected however for the price I would have expected more English friendly service. "
