"Very nice place to stay. Very good service and staff is really great. Just a few minutes by car to a parking lot or 25 minutes walk to the Mont St-Michel shuttles in a safe track. Nice spot to see Mont St-Michel from a distance in the morning. If you like sheeps, you will be able to see them pass by twice a day. Very cool to see them with the dogs doing their job."

"The staff were lovely but the condition of the 1st floor was horrible. It smelled of urine & cigarettes. The room looked clean but the smell was horrible & the door had no safety locks. I slept in my clothes & changed to shower & add fresh clothes before leaving. My 13 year old grandson asked if it was a hostel. I paid for 2 nights but we did not return & got a room in another place. "

"We loved our stay here! It was so quaint and lovely. The staff are wonderful and spoke fluent English. There are two units which house guests- we loved the view of the charming garden from our room. Although we got in too late to book time at the hot tub, we did get to enjoy a lovely afternoon in the conservatory. We also ordered coffee for room service and it was delightful!"

"Beautiful old manor, impressive entry to the property. In need of cleaning and extensive maintenance. Beautiful grounds, lots of greenery and extremely lush. Room was very small, but worked. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent. Overall would recommend and would stay again, but would love to see the owners do some overall repairs."

"They upgraded my room to one with a private bathroom free of charge due to most of the hotel being occupied by male construction workers. It was greatly appreciated. Only downside is the location, as there is nothing around except a few grocery stores that close early and the closest bus is a 20min walk away. Aside from that, it was a great little spot and the staff was lovely! "

"Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. They do have food available but mostly microwave meals or frozen pizza.... but if you get in on a Sunday and almost nothing else in town is open, it is nice to have something so conveniently located."

"I had a magical and memorable stay at this beautifully kept and historic Chateau. The Chateau is located around 20 minutes from Mont St. Michele and hours drive from dinan. The chateau itself is located on a peaceful country road on grounds inhabited by a lovely flock of geese who spend their days meandering the properties’ ponds. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean with strong air conditioning and decorated with antiques and paintings that speak to the history of the home. The service, a small professional team complimented by the warm hospitality of the de Roquefeuil family made the experience memorable. The highlight of my stay was chatting with the Count Regis de Roquefeuil, who graciously entertained my many questions about the history of the Chateau (the current property predates the french revolution and has seen tremendous moments in history). We were also glad we elected to enjoy the breakfast, which the family customizes to the guests taste. We were also pleasantly surprised at the number of services and amenities that the owners were able to offer (everything from the honor bar to a host of experiences that can be arranged). We look forward to our return "
