"Did what it said on the tin, cleans and tidy room. Quite small and no frills but then it was reasonably priced. Evening meal in restaurant which was good quality food for a good price "

"For the price €103, it absolutely wasn't worth it. It is situated in the middle of nowhere. You have to arrange your breakfast yourself for the next morning. The only thing you get in the evening before, is a bag with bread and some marmelade. The fridge is hardly filled and you have to make your thea or coffee yourself. Besides the awfull smell in the sleepingroom it is an accomodation far beyond nowadays standards. We thought we had become in a horror movie of the worst kind."

"Notre hôte était très gentil, soucieux qu’on ne manque de rien et proactif. Les lieux sont authentiques, la deco est chaleureuse, le confort du couchage de qualité. L’ensemble peut paraître un peu déroutant mais nous transporte dans une autre époque qui rend l’expérience unique ! Je recommande."

"Good value for money. Rooms and bathrooms are tiny (built in the sixties i guess) and not sound proof but building is within walking distance of cathedral and dinner at the restaurant was sumptuous"

"There was no parking. Hotels.com promised parking which is why I chose it. I suspect the primary fault lies with Hotels.com but the hotel should take responsibility for their entry on the website."

"We arrived at the property late in the evening. There were tiny ants crawling on the floor and bed, which were not seen until the morning. When mentioned to the hotel front desk clerk, along with a video, he offered an apology. "

"I booked this property but it was my adult grandchild and boyfriend who actually stayed so I have consulted them for the references. They were more than pleased with everything about their stay and both they and I found the host both charming and helpful in every possible way. They genuinely loved their stay. I visited the house to collect the keys as they were arriving very late and I have to say that it is a lovely place both inside and out. Absolutely top marks in every way. Please extend my...

"Tired property in a nice town.
Room's are very basic; only economy rooms were offered thru Hotels.com, which meant no en-suite!! Check if booking this way.
Self-serve breakfast OK at €8 - not much choice though.
It's OK for one night if travelling this way... but it ain't great."

It's feeding time at the zoo! If you want to be reminded of some of the great animals our world is home to, you might want to pay a trip to La Dame Blanche, located 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from central Saint-Julien-de-Mailloc.
"This quickly became my favourite hotel for a stopover while travelling through France. It is a beautiful historic building with a great renovation and a lovely swimming pool. The staff were charming and efficient. I would strongly recommend it."
"There was no A/C. You leave your windows open. After a busy day of walking, we sleep very well on the comfortable bed with the cooling night breeze. Mid-June. Clean, simple, adequate. We at a simple breakfast both mornings in the restaurant downstairs."
"When we arrived, m found our room, we were amazed at how large it was. Was. We were close to everything we wanted to do, and it was a great place to stay.
At checkout we asked about getting a taxi, and we're told that taxis were nearly non-existent after covid. This is 2025. The guy running the front desk took us in his personal car down to the train station. It was great service"
