When we arrived, our two dogs were not allowed to stay with us in the room or allowed into property. We had communicated they were travelling too but received no message back to say dogs were not permitted. The owner found them a stable to sleep in.

"We were visiting Dinant and the hotels there were very expensive, so it was great to find this place just 25km away. You will need a car but the fact that the price paid is less than half of a comparable hotel in Dinant makes it worth it. The only disadvantage is that there are sometimes parties going on and the noise level is quite high but the staff are very nice and the rooms are otherwise comfortable."

But we stayed 5 nights, and the whole hotel is closed untill 16.00 everyday. You have to give in your key to get cleaning, and can not get it before 16.00. The pool is also closed. So if you want your room and the pool, you will not ger cleaning.

The newer part provided a spacious suite of rooms with kitchenette and dual aspect living room (it forms two sides of a quadrangle), for our family. Being in the roof meant that the window sills were low and these open fully, not an issue with older children. Breakfast is available in the older part of the complex, the coffee beans are locally roasted and resultant coffee delicious. Our Host was an encyclopaedia of local information and directed us to some local areas of interest. Recommended."
