"My brother and I got my parents the Easter long weekend up here for their Christmas present and they just came home raving about how amazing it was. The room was well stocked, the staff were lovely, the views were beautiful (my dad described being able to see the moon rise as the sun set because they could see all the way to the horizon). Had an absolutely amazing time at Tuki Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning panoramic views and the peaceful, natural surroundings. The cosy cabin was a dream — complete with a spa bath and open fireplace, it created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind.
The retreat features beautiful lakes where you can catch your own trout — a fun and rewarding experience. The onsite restaurant was a standout, showcasing premium trout and lamb sourced directly from the working farm, along with other high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.
The service was outstanding — warm, personal, and truly first class. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or simply a place to switch off and recharge, I couldn’t recommend Tuki Retreat more highly. A truly special place that leaves you feeling refreshed and inspired."
