"My brother and I got my parents the Easter long weekend up here for their Christmas present and they just came home raving about how amazing it was. The room was well stocked, the staff were lovely, the views were beautiful (my dad described being able to see the moon rise as the sun set because they could see all the way to the horizon). "I was really disappointed with the bed in this hotel. The mattress was clearly old and worn out—you could feel a noticeable dip in the middle and the springs poking through. It made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they seriously upgrade their bedding.

The retreat features beautiful lakes where you can catch your own trout — a fun and rewarding experience.
