The view is exceptional. With all the amenities you need, you don't need to leave the house. Everything was perfect. We loved sitting by the fire, reading, playing cards and drinking one of the many local wines. There is enough to do in the area to keep you busy during the day, with enough time to relax in the house watching the glorious colours of the day change over the water. "We loved our stay... the cottage and grounds are absolutely adorable, and the couple who own the property are extremely warm and welcoming to their guests. A fresh loaf of sourdough bread, farm fresh eggs, and more were awaiting us in our romantic, imbeccably furnished cottage. It felt like we were staying in someone's private home rather than a vacation rental. The cottage we were in....the Hollyhock... has two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (with show and a jacuzzi), a comfortable living room and a dine-in kitchen... as well as a washing machine for laundry. The backyard was beautiful, with a barbcue, a back porch, a sloping lawn with chairs, and a nice view. There was even an apple tree brimming with fresh fruit. What more could you ask for?"
