"The first time I’ve stayed in a parador. Secluded and a real experience in the mountains overlooking a lake
We had an upgraded room which gave us a wonderful view. Not for you if you want disco and nightlife. Great if you like the outdoors and peace and quiet."

"Good hotel, but the isolation within the rooms is a little bit low (you can hear easily the noise of people in the other rooms next and above you...
It is a pity that you have to pay extra to use the little indoor pool, for sure in low season they should better make it free when the outside pool is not ready for use...
But in general good hotel, very kind staff, but price wise just for sleeping, price in low season is quite high... "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. We came without adapters (forgot them!) and manager searched really hard to find us a solution - a mobile phone charger that fitted. Need to be able to speak a little Spanish, or better - Catalan! - if possible, but everyone worked hard to understand what we wanted and daytime desk manager speaks good English. Packed lunches available on request (filled baguette, fruit, water and something sweet - ideal for the mountains)."

"The staff was SO sweet. Somehow we booked the romantic suite so were welcomed by a big heart of rose petals on our bed and a bottle of champagne. Since we were not in the mood for a big dinner, the adorable housekeeper set up a spread in the kitchen. They let us park right out front. I could go on, but you get the picture."

"Amazing place! Very beautiful & quiet. The public spaces are very nice and comfortable. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was super nice, also. The best was the owner lady who is such a kind person! "

"We had a great experience in a very idillic place up in Planoles. The views are exceptional, and the place is inviting, quier and nice. Personal is amazing and we had a great stay. The only thing we missed was a mosquito net (that we had last year but not this year), and a smallest bed tht would have made our stay more comfortable with a child, but it is a great place and we repeat every year"

"Thank you so much for the information about the area you gave me when I checked in. I would definitely come back, there was too much to see in just two days. "

"No es un hotel de 4 estrellas para nada. Como mucho 3 estrellas por su spa nada mas. La cena a 32€ sin bebida para un bufet muy pobre es exagerada
La habitacion vale un 2 estrellas , no han cambiado la toalla grande el dia siguiente . Solo el chico de la recepcion y el del bar muy profesionel los dos y muy amables."

"Great stay. Clean and spacious room, friendly staff, solid breakfast. We found parking by the bridge about 200m or so away from the hotel for free. Glad we stayed there.

"Gem of a small hotel in a beautiful rural setting with green forested hills (June). Personal, friendly welcome by Oscar. Modern but stylish facilities and wonderful outside pool area."
"Beautiful, unique property on a very tranquil and scenic location. A 7,5 km drive up from the main road brings you to the top of the hill.
Stunning finca with magnificent views and silence all around, pure heaven!
The staff are brilliant, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. True hospitality. Tjank you Javier and Beatriz for making our stay unforgettable!"

"There was a change in hotel management during our stay. As the new managers were moving into their own accommodations, the main portion of the hotel was closed. Therefore this review is based only upon our stay in the luxury cabin:
Positives:
- The room is spectacular with amazing views
- Bed is extremely comfortable. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while travelling Europe.
- Location is fantastic. Very quiet and near a donkey sanctuary.
- With the restaurant being closed, the new managers provided us with a basket of food to prepare in the in-suite kitchen.
- Short walk to town and all the trails
- Swimming pool right outside the door of the suite. If the hotel is running at full capacity, I am not sure if this is private but it was for us which was fantastic.
- New management was very friendly and accommodating.
Negatives:
- None
If you travel to Rupit and want to spend a couple of nights, Santa Llucia is the best choice.
