"The ability to stay in a 13th century castle, beautifully maintained by the family that's had the property for nearly 200 years was exceptional. Breakfast was a delight, with home-made crepes, an assortment of bread and croissants, home-made jams, and plenty of coffee. The calm was serene!"

"Comfortable room, unfortunately on loud road which cannot be helped. Spacious bathroom. Large bed. Receptionist did try and get us to pay again but eventually accepted we had paid. Did not have the breakfast so cannot comment. Conveniently near several restaurants and large supermarket. "

"Spotlessly clean hotel. Room smelt fresh and had everything we needed. Only comment is that the door to the shower is quite small so if you're of a larger size, you may find it a bit of a struggle. "So the rooms DO NOT HAVE A LIVING ROOM - Only a kitchen and two bedrooms. The place is nice and right on the beach with plenty of space and no dog restrictions. We enjoyed our time just limited space when it rained"

"We were on a day trip to Cherbourg so only stayed for one night but we can highly recommend the hotel for its location and the friendliness of its staff. Our family room had everything we needed, with three beds being provided as requested. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. The bathroom was large and clean. The location is perfect and we received some excellent recommendations of places to eat. Not related to the hotel but Cherbourg itself - we expected there to be more cafes/bars open in the evening for a coffee or ice cream but everywhere appeared to close at around 10pm or earlier. We would however definitely return for a short break to Cherbourg and Hotel d'Angleterre. "
