We had two birthdays among the group and the thoughtful hotel staff not just helped to order in cakes, one for gal, one for guy but went the extra mile to prepare party hats and utensils!"

"Hotel staff were all polite and friendly. Special thanks to Hanna at reception for her great service and warm smiles when we checked in and just before we left. We were lucky to have a room on the seventeenth floor so had great views. Room itself was spacious and comfortable with good quality fittings and appliances. Great shower and there was also a separate bath. Breakfast options were many including beef or chicken noodle soup and egg station. It can be busy with Asian tour groups so I would recommend going either early or after 8.30 am. Location is handy with a few good restaurants very close and only a five minute walk to the town centre where all the action is, along with loads of more food options and plenty of clothing shops."

"Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge has been the highlight of our trip to Sapa. It truly has been an immersive experience in the beautiful and peaceful countryside. The bungalow style suites consisted of comfortable, cozy beds and bedding which includes all the necessities that any hotels can offer. The suite felt like an haven of relaxation and provided us with great privacy. We particularly enjoyed waking up and sitting on the porch overlooking the views while sipping on coffee each morning or reading a book midday. The property itself is adorned with traditional wooded panels and lamps. It was also a treat to see and spend time with the country animals roaming around the area each day. The home cooked meals prepared by the host were also so deliciously made and generous in portion. My partner and I felt it tasted far better than many of the meals we tried at the restaurants in town. Above all, the host and his family were so lovely and kind. They are so dedicated in their craft and maintaining their property as great hosts. Our stay at Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge has made a lasting memory. It was such a calming and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We highly recommend for anyone who's looking to escape from the crowdedness of the town and recharge in a calming and traditional atmosphere that Sapa has to offer under the care of such wonderful hosts! "

"AVOID! HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH! If I could give this property 0 stars, then I would! Where to start… the staff member at the front desk was very unhelpful and rude. As soon as we arrived (2 hours early), after a long journey, tried to charge us almost double what we initially paid for an early check in. The hotel is dirty and an absolute litter of dirty shoes, thrown all across the floor was what we were met with as soon as we walked in. The pool, that was still under construction, with cowboys dangling pieces of steel above our head was unusable! And not only that - was in a different building! Even if there was no construction work, the pool is still not a place for relaxation as there were only 2 plastic chairs to “sunbathe” and the pool was too small to swim in. We left before even checking in, after being made to wait for about 3 hours in the hotel lobby with no help or assistance offered from hotel staff! "

"A truly first class fantastic experience at this property. Excellent service from the front desk to the restaurants to the service staff all throughout. Extremely prim and proper and well trained in the art of service culture. Surprisingly, this is an independent hotel not under any franchise but it might as well be! The standards were that good! Just walking distance to the Sapa Station where you can start your journey up the mountain of fansipan via cable car. Great experience!"

"this hotel room was beautiful and had the perfect mountain view. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. food and coffee were delicious. i got a shampoo/face spa for the first time. the lady was amazing! they also gave advice on when it was a good time to visit. all in all, my 2nd favorite hotel ive gone to in my lifetime"
