So I drove through the night, to get here before sunrise. Unfortunately the trail is closed until the visitor center is open, which was after sunrise. I was able to race down the trail and see why some 120-200 Navajo called this home at one point. It is perfectly placed to get shade through morning and a spring is nearby.
