"Brilliant little place to stay. Clean, comfortable, when we checked in they'd already put the heat pump on for us (it was quite cold) which was a nice touch. They offered milk for coffee as well. Its the little things that make a difference here. Location - right on the lake, and a 10min walk to the centre of everything. It was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. My only minor criticism - old school Sky TV... I took a chromecast with me to cast what we wanted to watch but it wouldn't work. There were no smart options on the TV, so we were left with old school Sky TV which was... interesting. But this was very minor, and everything that really matters was was 10/10."

"From check in to check the amazing team looked after us and made us feel so welcome. Our room was great, comfy beds and all we needed for our little weekend get away for our anniversary. Oh and the hot pools were amazing, wish they had some sort of entertainment though, like a big screen playing music or something maybe a bit more lighting for ambience😁 lots of parking, oh and let's not forget the little 9hole gold course across the road👍 easy access to the town center and all other attractions."

"Every staff member we met was absolutely lovely very friendly very helpful. The room was clean and tidy and kept reasonably up to date as per 90% of accommodation the bed was slightly too firmed for my liking but all in all no complaints"

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay here for the last 4 nights. The owners are lovely and accomodating. Lots of privacy and the spa was enjoyable! The room was spotless on arrival and the cleaners were respectful when approaching our room for a service. Everything was super clean, the only thing we noticed was the spa area had a smell to it. Outside only Other than that, thank you for having us! We’ll definitely be back. "

"The staff and reception are friendly. Check in is fast. We have 3 adults and 1 kid in my family. They offer us a free upgrade to a much larger and luxury room because they said the room we booked may be too small for 4 people. They are so kind and considerate."

"Definitely not your standard “motel” stay! Beautiful, thoughtfully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean and lovely hosts. Great location in the centre of Taupo and walking distance to an endless number of restaurants. We had a two-bedroom suite with a spa bath, and it was more than comfortable for our family of four. The room would have been suitable for a far longer stay than we had time for. Highly recommended."

"I went to taupo for my trip. Stay in silver fern lodge. It gives a very good experience also quite environment. No disturbance and a good with a cheap option room. "

"Staff was great and love the fact that it’s pet friendly. Not easy to find in NZ. Unsure why there was a $20 surcharge for having a pet at the check in that wasn’t mentioned in Expedia when booking though. Might need to look at that. "
