"We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open! "

Dinner is expensive but very good quality - not much else nearby... so treat yourself!
Breakfast is excellent - great choices, plenty to have. Maybe not as good as previously... but still very good.

"We decided not to stay here as the location was much too far from the town and had no river view.
The official check in is 6pm which I find is far too late .
We contacted Hotels .com and they refunded our payment which we appreciate.
The place is probably ok for an overnight stay if not interested in visiting the chateau on foot.
Definitely better to stay in Amboise ."

They were making some construction updates to the hotel while we stayed and as a result we had some issues with our room and the gentleman at the front desk was so incredibly helpful. And they gave us so much great advice about where to park and what to do nearby. The room was small but matched the listed description, so it was exactly upon our expectations. Would stay here again. "
