"Extremely remote (nearly a 3 hour bus ride from Kinegawa Onsen Train station into the winding mountains) which was both an adventure and unnerving. Made to feel like a foreigner with little help in understanding the cultural norms as a newcomer to the onsen experience.
The in-suite onsen option was incredible, providing both privacy and ability to enjoy the experience as a newcomer free of the "ritual" imposed but not well explained for use of the public hot pools.

"The view is amazing, the open bath is exciting with the beautiful river and mountains make me feel relaxed.the pure hot spring getting my skin so soft.very kind staff and the foods are delicious.this is the perfect place for the nature loverโs person."

"Everything about the property and my stay there was magical and beautiful. Itโs very remote and hard to get to but very much worth it. The only drawback is not having much time to explore the town but if youโre looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city thereโs not much better. "
