"This is a good tourist class hotel, clean and warm, good bed, good bathroom and secure. No issue here at all, reception and breakfast are across the road which isn't ideal but other than that it's fine. The snow in the morning was a nice touch!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this farm. The accommodations are comfortable, though not deluxe. The food in the communal dining hall was good. However, we skipped what we thought was an overpriced (not unusual in Iceland) buffet, with no option for a smaller meal, such as coffee and pastry. Nice outdoor geothermal pools, including one totally natural "hot pot." We enjoyed wonderful walks along the brook. A variety of walks from easy and flat to steep and challenging. A great family...

"Rooms are not fancy but adequate. Food in the restaurant is very good. You have to try the Puffin appetizer. It’s really delicious. Setting of the hotel is very nice with a river and horses behind the hotel. We enjoyed playing with the “pet” fox that lives on the property. It’s fun watching the fox pester the dog that also lives on the property. "
"We enjoyed our stay in this small fishing town. The fisherman hotel was small but excellent. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. The free breakfast was delicious as was the purchased dinner and desserts. It was a long drive to get there from the international airport, but we got to see the entire west coast. "
"A wonderful experience! The inn is located in a very well-done conversion of a school that is part of a compound that includes a church and cemetery. A very relaxing country atmosphere. We didn't find many hiking opportunities accesible from the property, but plenty to do nearby. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and providing much advice regarding local sites and hiking opportunies. The staff was the highlight of our 2 nights at Holt. The breakfast was excellent and is the only meal offered. For others, Flateryi is a short drive and has 2 options (only one after 5:00 p.m.). But then there is Kaffi Sol, which is on the way to Flateryi. The posted hours are 12-5. But, reservations can be made for evening meals. They are homecooked by Gunna and were delicious and she was wonderful. Dining at Kaffi Sol was a highlight of our stay not only at Holt Inn but of our entire travels in the West Fjords."
