It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"They seemed like a great family but no AC or hot water, shared bathroom and shower with 6 other rooms. Fruit fell from the tree hitting the metal roof which made it impossible to sleep much. It was not at all a good experience. It was a room with an old bed and a bench and book shelf with a fan but it stayed hot. The boat tour was nice."

"Location was very hard to find with no directions. Guard at gate was not friendly and would not let us into the community prior to check in. House smelled of strong fish smell. No dining options nearby. Woke up to no water. Water was shut off so we could not shower, or use toilets or anything and couldnt get ahold of host. "

We rented a car and were prepared for the possibility of rough roads, but had no issues driving.

The location is also beautiful with amazing view and the bridge is awesome. 10min walk to the center where you get the restaurants and beaches and then you have a private way down to the waterfall. My girlfriend also did the yoga and she loved it. Its a perfect stay in perfect Montezuma!"
