"This hotel was literally 100 metres from Salerno train station. Very easy to check staff are on point speak good English. I’m not a big fan of hotel continental breakfast but here it was very good. Simple selection good quality ingredient. They made omelette etc and coffees on order. Rooms safe & quite walking distance to shops and port for day excursions. If I ever come back to salerno I will most definitely stay here for the price and standard it was exceptional "

"The Grand Hotel is abundant in everything 😍 great location, a 5-10 mins walk to ferry port (usually amalfi coast boats i.e. Travelmar). Centrally located to everything such as beach & town centre. Lovely walk to Lungomare Promenade! "

"This is a nice hotel in a small city. It is updated, clean and convenient to nearby attractions, and there is a wonderful full-service, fine dining restaurant on the property. The breakfast is very good. Service was wonderful - everyone was friendly and willing to go above and beyond to assist. There is also a nice pool and lobby bar. We will definitely stay here again if visiting Avellino."

"We had an amazing time at this resort type hotel! We loved the interior with beautiful ceramic floor tiles, clean rooms and our room overlooking the beach and the most amazing view of the bay!!! We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the fireworks several times a week! It was the best vacation ever!"

"Great stay and a great location ! We loved everything about our stay, we were with a toddler and we couldn't have asked for more. The check in and check out process was super simple as well. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the housekeeper is a lovely lady as well. Next time we are in Salerno, we will be back!"

"This place is great. We were a family of 5 and it had everything we needed and more. You are not in the main tourist area but this was great because local shops/bakeries/cafe all close which we enjoyed. They went above and beyond with an issue of lost luggage trying to help."

"A Hidden Gem in the Mountains - Truly Unforgettable! We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful historic hotel, perched atop a mountain in a quaint little village. The setting is absolutely magical-right next to a Roman aqueduct dating back to 100-200AD, and beside a stunning old Catholic church. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. From the warm and welcoming waitstaff -Gabrielle, Abdelkader, Lello and Mario— (and all the others that we do not have their names) to Antonio the bartender always there to accommodate with drinks and food, everyone made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Francesco and Simon the pool attendants, who were both incredibly helpful and always ready to answer any questions we had with a smile. If you're looking for charm, history, and outstanding hospitality, this place is a must-visit. We will cherish our memories here forever. "Residence zelzar is perfect if you want to experience amalfi coast with less tourists. The town is very cute with lots of ceramic shops and excellent food. The room was well equipped and clean and the management communication was excellent. We had a wonderful time here. Very high up on the hill but easy to drive down with a car or catch the bus. Don’t underestimate the cafe bar royal where we had a free coffee and croissant every morning! Excellent pastries and very friendly. "
