Easy to access many of the chateaus, castles, and wineries in the Liore Valley. Our hosts Isabelle and Antoinne were helpful from the initial booking and throughout our stay. "Lovely family room. We were late checking in but the reception was v helpful with finding us a restaurant close by. Would recommend for people visiting Saumur - great location "
"We stayed for just one night and were blown away by how stunning the chateau and its views. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and attentive without being fussy.
We stayed in the Napoleon suite which had incredible views of the Loire from the balcony. The room itself was huge with beautiful period furniture and features. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was very clean with double sinks and shower and all necessities supplied were good quality.
We enjoyed great food and wine in the restaurant with a 3 course meal plus some additional delicacies.
We definitely felt like we’d had a chateau experience and would recommend as a beautiful place to stay

The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. "Small hotel that states 2 star but the room was clean and suitable for a short stay the breakfast was good. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the town shops and restaurants. There is parking in a church car park behind the hotel which is free after 1830 and all Sunday, there is some building works going on but this did not impact uas at all. "

Friendly service ( I can speak a bit of French; they could speak some English so all good for check-in, etc! Also.one staffer who was fully bilingual.). Good breakfast in pleasant dining area. Also a cozy bar and in nice weather a courtyard.
There is a v.good Italian restaurant next door, and cafe 2 blocks away. You will want to go into Saumur Centre-- a 15 minute walk over 2 bridges. Lots to explore and many eating choices there. "
