It's a modern city but with plenty of history scattered throughout. Old town is stunning and only a 5 minute drive from the centre. Everything is walking distance. The locals are extremely welcoming and helpful. I travelled solo and I felt very safe.

First time in Warsaw and it was great! Would love to come back in warmer weather. Lots of history and tons of great restaurants. I did 3 walking tours which I would recommend as I learned so much more than if I would have walked around solo.

Wonderful city! From Old Town to the new shopping areas and restaurants this is a very walkable city. The people were friendly and prices were pretty good. Many (if not most) younger people speak English. Always somewhere to grab a coffee!
